A Full Truckload of Pineapple stalks

Pineapple tops are an essential part of the daily diet we provide for our elephants. Sourced locally, they supply valuable energy and nourishment, helping our elephants stay healthy, strong, and content. Their availability also allows us to support local farmers while choosing a sustainable and responsible food source for our herd.

However, because Samui Elephant Haven is located on an island, the cost of feeding our elephants is considerably higher than on the mainland. Transportation alone presents a significant challenge, making each delivery both logistically complex and financially demanding. To adequately care for our twelve elephants, we must secure approximately two full truckloads of food every week.
